CS:GO challenge at CPH Games

Copenhagen Games has announced a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament on the opening day of the event.

The event will kick off on Wednesday April 4, while the main tournament is set to begin Friday April 6. The organizers behind Copenhagen Games today revealed that they will feature a CS:GO tournament on the opening day.

The tournament has been labeled as Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge and will have room for eight teams, playing best-of-one map in a single-elimination bracket. The winning team of this small tournament will pocket 1,000€.

Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge prizes:

1. 1,000€
2. 5 x SB Recon3D Omega Wireless
3. 5 x SB Tactic3D Wrath Wireless

The eight participants will be found via several community sites. We have been asked to find two CS 1.6 teams to participate, so has the Danish CS 1.6 community site XplayN.com, while the Danish CSS community gaming.dk will find four CSS teams.

The tournament will begin at 19:00 , teams participating will have to play the first round on their own computers, while semi-finals and the final will be played on the stage computers.
